Are a fluke team. Patriots just got all the calls against Buffalo. Let's see them try that in the playoffs. They just got a couple of lucky touchdowns.

Randy Moss just pushes players off he's supposed to push off of before he catches the ball.

Call me evil but I would find it funny if Tom Brady gets hurt towards the end of the season and they get beat during their first playoff game. I don't have a problem with the hoodie, but I do have a problem with Rodney Roids and that bag Junior Seau. Remember the "retirement" speech he gave where he looked like he was up doing coke the whole night before? What bad retires than comes back a whole week later on another team? That s stupid

I already it would be poetic justice if Brady and Moss both got hurt before they broke any records.

The Patriots better win this year because they're going to put Brady or Moss on the cover of Madden 09 and you can kiss that team good bye if they lose one of those guys.

You know Im sick of all this Brady for MVP. The clear cut MVP of the league has been Moss. Look at Culpepper after Moss, he's ....Now look at Brady before Moss, pretty good, but never put up these kinds of stats. Moss=MVP

I agree with you 100%. I think that without Moss, they would be a whole level behind the Colts and Cowboys. The past 2 years, I felt they overachieved quite a bit, and that by this year, their age and slow defense would really start to show, but they found a way to hide it by getting Moss. I still think that teams like the Colts and Cowboys will exploit that if they meet in the playoffs, because they are both capable of slowing them down defensively, and scoring at the same rate they do as well. Both teams showed some clear defensive weaknesses that the Patriots had, and had Reggie Wayne simply caught that one pass in their earlier meeting, the game would have likely been over. I am not one bit impressed with the Patriots the way many other people are. They are a team made to beat the crap out of lesser teams, but other elite teams can play right there with them.

I forgot about all those snaps Moss takes on defense each game.

Don't be an ignorant . His offense definitely takes pressure off the defense, much like the defense used to take pressure off their average offense in previous years. I've said it plenty of other times. Their offense scores so well, that other teams are FORCED to pass it downfield, just to keep up with them, thus making their offense very predictable and making it easier to get big plays such as interceptions, or forcing them into quick 3-and-outs taking up minimal time, which in turn puts their defense on the field even longer, making them more tired and even less capable of stopping the most dangerous offensive force in NFL history in Randy Moss. The guy is a TD just waiting to happen, and we cannot say that about any other player EVER.

I couldn't care less if either of them win MVP, but to say that it's all Moss is garbage. Of course Moss is playing incredible, but alot of people now have the misconception that the Patriots are a home-run team who just chucks it deep alot and prays that Moss gets it.

The Patriots are second in the league in Time Of Possession per game. Brady is still the masterful game manager he's always been.

but I could care less about MVP, give it to Favre.

The defense prevents the other team from scoring more than them. They do their job just fine.

They clearly can't stop an injured Colts team and the Cowboys consistently though.

Moss also draws the attention of the entire defense, making it easier for average players like Wes Welker to get open underneath and to sustain drives. See Nate Burleson.

They also clearly got manhandled in the second half of the AFC championship game this past year, in a game that they had no business being in, in the first place.

I do hate the Pats, but I have respect for them as well. But let's all be honest, they really should not have beat the Chargers. They got really lucky that somehow the guy fumbled that interception that had basically sealed the game, as well as numerous other bizzare penalties. The Patriots were VERY fortunate that they won it.

The Cowboys? They arent even that good. Their D got exposed against the Skins but their O is good enough to maybe land them in the superbowl due to the nfc being so bad. They cant pressure the qb all that well and their secondary is decent at best. The Cowboy arent a true elite and they arent good enough to win it all this season either. A healthy Colts team I will admit is the only team who can make it close with the Pats but even that isnt enough to beat them.

Moss should get the lionshare of the credit but Welker is the reason Brady is able to control the clock. Their offense wouldn't be as unstoppable if they lost either Welker or Moss.
