Why do you continually refer to yourself in the 3rd person? Are you worried that if you say "I" we'll forget who you're referring to?
    Because I feel like it.

Because sometimes I let people like ShoogarBear, SpursWoman and Kluby post under the timvp moniker so saying "I" isn't sufficient.

    I had no idea.

    Because I feel like it.

That's awesome! I've been meaning to ask the same thing for a while. Now I know.

I knew whottt would be man enough to accept timvp's olive branch and go.

I'm thrilled the debates between timvp and whottt will continue.
I expect after the game they may even get better.(If that's possible!)

I don't see how anyone could think this would resolve the conflict.
I think all will be peace and harmony between those two after Saturday night.

Similarly, you and whottt will bury the hatchet when you attend Hedo's number retirement together.

Ironically enough, with how SpursTalk on a whole hates AJ, timvp is the voice of dissent in this case. In fact, the longtime AJ backers can probably be counted on one hand.

Anyways, I'll see tomorrow. Who woulda thunk that whottt would break his 12 year streak of not going to a Spurs game by going to the AJ jersey retirement ceremony. Most of SpursTalk doesn't understand the classicness of this event.
baseline bum is down with AJ, and will cut whottt if he says anything bad about the little big man during the ceremonies.

So whats the story behind that 12 year streak. I wondered that when it was first mentioned... Why did you stop going to spurs games?
    Moved back to Austin
95 playoffs weren't really fun(and that last game I went to wasn't exactly AJ's defining moment either).
I'd usually get ripped at the games and no way to get back to Austin without driving.
My dad stopped buying season tickets because no one was using them as much, and you could get some damn cheap individual tickets at the Alamodome anyway...

Just got out of the habit without always having tickets and got to enjoy watching the games on TV where you can kick back. Got to feel the same way about the playoff games.

It wasn't like I swore I'd never attend another game or anything dramatic like that.....

I kinda know what you mean.I have season tickets and sometimes I just feel like kickin back and watching the games on t.v. but there is nothing like actually being there in person especially in the playoffs. I was at game 7 in 2005 and you could just feel the electricity in the building and everybody stood up the entire 4th quarter. It was one of the greatest experiences in my life.

Yeah going live is a great experience, although it's been a lot better to do it over the last 10 years than it was when I was doing it. Back when I was doing it, they had a habit of never quite winning the big games. And that sucked...it especially sucked to pay $$$$ and drive 60 miles to do it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the AT&T Center as well...I've heard it's nice.

I actually liked the Alamodome though...I think me and Kobe are the only ones.

Yeah i loved the Alamodome and didn't have season tickets then but it was still possible to get tickets even in the playoffs. But damn i can't believe Kobe made the last ever shot at the Dome. I mean WTF??? Of all people!

LOL. There will be peace and harmony for Saturday Night...other than that I can make no promises.

This is an extremely classy gesture on the part of timvp and Kori...all bs aside, as it was by you...but I don't think we've seen the last of the AJ wars.

Does anyone honestly believe that even if I were to go silent on the issue that the issue would die? Lots of AJ haters out there...AJ does it himself.

I mean...even Angel Luv is an AJ hater...

The only way it will die is Kori and timvp make rules against it....

That's a good question. Recently I've had ChumpDumper defend whottt when I was arguing with whottt ... and whottt defend ChumpDumper when I was arguing with ChumpDumper.

I guess the days of whottt vs. ChumpDumper have ended

He said "at this time." That definitely leaves the door open to future Whottt-Chump bouts. Or so we can hope.

I am nothing if not Democratic

Shoogar I thought you were joking up until that last post. I wasn't trying to be a snob or anything.

To my fellow AJ haters...fear not. I am not going to start liking AJ now....even if I were to forgive him for his sins since leaving the Spurs...

He's still the coach of the damn Mavs.
He still doesn't deserve his jersey hanging up there.

But it was a really nice gesture by timvp, and I accepted it becuse I like timvp, and I want to go to a Spursgame and see some of my Spurs brethren...if I get to meet ShoogarBear...all the better.

I want to see if Shoogarbear is half as funny in person as he is on the forum...too.

But fear not fellow AJ haters...whottt cannot be bought...consider this merely a gesture that we AJ haters are openminded and not blind engines of AJ hating.

I will go and represent AJ haters with class and dignity....but if anyone thinks I am going to be singing AJ's praises from now on...think again, and shame on you for even trying it....and the forum would be a much more boring place if there were no voices of disent...
