Laker fans have every right to feel good about their team of course. They have a good young core and a HOF coach. It's just bags like MajicMan that piss me off, that can't rep their team without ting on others.

I do agree that the bandwagon has filled up, which is always the case in LakerLand when the lakers are on top. The mavs dealt with the same thing when they were on top but for those of us who went thru the bad times with this lakers team, i don't see anything wrong with feeling good about this team. I do see where you're coming from though.
I know the feeling - I watched almost every single Laker game through the post Magic Johnson era (including Rambis as coach, Del Harris as coach, the infamous Cedric Ceballos "family emergency no show" trip to Lake Havasu in the middle of the season, Magic as coach, Magic comeback, the Dennis Rodman experiment, etc.), the post Shaq era (I absolutely cold not stand Smush Parker - it was like playing 4 on 5 in the second half of every game) and somehow I am still a HUGE fan - I'm just glad the west is so exciting this year.

We have our concerns also and I would be the first to admit it. We definitely need Bynum. It scares the out of me to go to the playoffs without him watching Gasol on defense. Without Bynum, i would not feel as confident as I do. Knowing that he will be back next month. I like our chances.

No doubt, we went thru some very tough times. After Magic was the toughest for me. We just flat out sucked!

    Where is Smush Parker?

I have to say another tough moment for me as a Lakers fans was to actually like and accept Karl Malone on the lakers in 2004. I could not stand that guy but I tolerated him because he was a lakers.

I'm still wondering what makes you so convinced that I have a small penis? There is no explanation other than the fact that you are obsessed with s.

Laker fans have every right in the world to be optimistic about now and the future.

Laker fans have absolutely no right to be the dumbass arrogants they are being, with which you can't have a basketball discussion with. Putting together a nice string of victories guarantees you nothing in the playoffs.

Yes the Lakers have a storied franchise, but for all I know the current group has yet to achieve anything important.

5 of them were when they were in Minneapolis.
