Pop wanted some Nasty…
Whaaaaat?
Pop wanted some Nasty…
cp3 to the Spurs
If it’s more than the MLE,I’m going to vomit. Same for more than 2 years.
I’m be fine with Chris Paul and Derrick Jones Jr, turn off the off-season lights and someone drive RC home.
The long-term CP3 haters on this forum must be conflicted right now.
Signing with the Spurs but also effectively guaranteeing he'll never win a ring![]()
If it’s at the right price it’s just what the doctor ordered.
I wonder the length and value of the deal ...
So what happens to the depth chart as a result? Is Tre on his way out?
Wow did not see CP3 coming here at all. Pretty great player for Castle to learn from.
my brain is so confused being stoked about CP3 signing
Damn CP3 hey. Not sure how I feel about that one![]()
This should put to rest the Trae Young rumors.
What do you do with Tre now though?
Yes, chief. Cade's post all-star game stats are, well, all-star level. 25, 8, 5 on 45, 40, 90 splits. Expect that to be the floor of Cade's numbers next season (aside from the shooting that should still be very good). Do you expect Vassell to ever average those numbers, let alone as soon as next season? I like Devin, but he's no Cade, not even close, tbh.
Cade's shot has came around and he plays the right way. Not his fault his teammates suck ass, tbh.

1 year 11M for Paul
Pobably the highest amount Paul could get + texas taxes
Only 1y is a good deal for both parts tbh
Holy that's excellent. Not even a 2nd year option?
I knew something fishy was going on. A year too late for this move. I would have loved it to ease Wemby into his rookie season. Now this is just going to take are wins total from 26 to 35 and cost us a chance at Traore, tbh.![]()
Ugh…I mean I guess lol
Thrilled with the contract though. That part is fantastic.
Better than nothing I guess, but not exactly what I was hoping for. He’s really bad on defense, cant be relied upon for much else other than accurate lobs/passes and obviously didnt show he had much left in the tank on GS.
I dont *hate* it but I also just kind of feel meh about it and its not enough of a justification to punt the 8th pick so hoping theres some more to this off season
But he definitely pushes one or both of Branham/Blake down the rotation that’s for sure with now Castle/CP on the roster.
Bench insurance and rotation. Paul won't play 30' evey games and Castle might be used at diff positions
Decent rotation
Spurs can also trade him to a contender with a contract like that…get some of those 2030 second rounders.
