Morris made sense here, just because of the overlap with Gay and the fact that he shoots 3's just about well enough to somewhat compensate for losing Bertans' 3P shooting. He's not nearly enough to lift the Knicks out of their self-made pile.
Dude leaves a contender where he would get more mins to showcase himself and joins a loser with a surplus at his position all over just 1.2 mil more which will be negated by state tax.
Morris is a ing idiot and I dont care if he double reneges back to San Antonio, I dont want him.
If this is how his logic works off the court then I dont wanna see his logic working on the court in my team's uniform.
Not spurs material.
Good riddance.

He's not that much better and they're the Knicks.
And the Spurs have a ready Belinelli replacement for two years so they can aggressively shop him for a bigger player.
As I said, not ideal but better than nothing minus Bertans, which is what the Spurs have now.
Spurs could split it between the trash heap left over or go after singleton.
Ok Knick FO and Knick fan and NY Media, put yourself in Bullock's place. You want me to agree to a pay cut to play for a lottery bound team? Ring chasers take pay cuts to get a shot at the ring......and you MFers want me to take a pay cut to play for a lotter bound team.![]()
I give it a couple days. Of course, there's always the Friday late evening (bad) news dump, which in this case would be not being able to land Marcus Morris in free agency despite $500 million in cap space.
Reggie Bullock has an "mysterious ailment" - I do a google image serach - find this picture of Reggie -

With Leonard, AD, and PG forcing trades, I don't know if today's NBA players really care about being honorable.
Millenials. Just read the “get your money” comments on twitter. What these players represent compare to Big 3 sacrificing to be compe ive
Bullock at pride. Ok?
Guys if he wanted to be a spur wouldn't you assume he would of signed by now? What's the saying about the bird in the hand etc he would of signed the definite offer. He waiting for a reason which means he signing with the Knicks and I hope it backfires on him. Truly
Cool for him. Support the fans.
True. But this is something that SJax would’ve done also, and Spurs missing that SJax toughness, “bad at ude” guy that Morris brings.
Agreed hes looking for an out
That’s ok. Becky finally will have someone to share a bath with.
He's waiting to see if the Knicks will have the money to pay him.
The phobia of some people on this board is ridiculous. He’s supporting pride, which is cool (and why not be open to more fans).
At this rate I don’t think we will know till training camp whether this fool is signing with us or the Knicks. My god speed this process up
It's time for this organization to grow a pair of balls and stand up for themselves. If they're not already, they should be working the back channels with the league office trying to get them to discipline the Knicks in some sort of way. Then, once that inevitably fails, they need to make this a public issue. Or they can bury their head in the sand again and wait around for the next time they get screwed . .
Not that it matters, but he was probably supporting his trans "sister", who I believe died. Don't you people read HoopsHype?![]()
He doesn't want to be here.
ST doesn't always have the sharpest tools.
Or, you discipline the Knickerbockers yourself.
He’s a north philly guy he’ll go where the money is .
