What a letdown. But its tied as it should be. At least it wasn't Duncan who shoved Nash and is risking suspension.
Did anyone notice the crowd was completely a non factor, or how huge the 1st quarter Charge on Duncan when Nash had an entire foot in the restricted zone, or how huge Pop's decision to take Duncan out of the game when our offense was stagannt and phoenix was on a run??

Pop got very predictable with his playcalls. Everything was either iso or throw it into Timmy. We didn't run nearly enough combination plays.
And you lose all credibility.
If one team was dirty tonight, aside from the Horry play, it was the Suns. By far. They got away with more tonight in the 4th quarter, it looked like Games 3 & 4 of the Dallas series last year.
Well, the refs screwed them, but the Spurs allowed it to happen. They folded when it really mattered and didn't adjust to the refs like they should have.
And then this. Bad form. Spurs have to steal 5, because they gave it up here. They steal 5, then you know they will win it all.
Suns came out, stuck with it and played it hard. They earned it.
Spurs offense and defense totally collapsed in 4th qtr.
Robert's FF2 might have cost us the game and the series.
3 game series with HCA with PHX. Our worst nightmare.
