ASSAULT CAUSING BODILY INJURY

I guess we now know our starting safeties.
Orangebloods reported that Malcolm practiced on Sunday morning. It's very confusing with the closed practices. I do think Malcolm tweaked his ankle, but it was so mild that he didn't miss much / any practice.

He wasn't starting above Gideon and Vaccaro, but makes me wonder if Bryant Jackson will have to move back to safety if Scott can't return. The story I read is this situation involved a woman and that probably won't be taken lightly (if true).

2013 WR Dannon Cavil of Austin Lake Travis has transferred to San Antonio Madison due to his father's job. A mental note for anyone who watches 26-5A football. I'm not sure if he's in the staff's recruiting plans or not, but he'll be a name we'll hear some.
Some good interviews with the coordinators: Applewhite, Harsin and Diaz.

OU's senior LB Travis Lewis is slated to miss around eight weeks with a broken foot.
Yeah this sucks but the kid backing him up is a blue chipper, He may be back for the Texas game wich is 2 months from yesterday. Will be most missed in the fsu where his leadership will be needed on the road agains a top 10 team

Just found out today from a co-worker. I've been so busy watching Texans training camp that I'd kinda lost track of him. Sorry you guys missed out on him.
Surprising but not overly surprising. I knew that the bright lights of the SEC had a shot at luring him away but I thought it would be Bama if any. After his mom told me that he was leaning towards staying home I thought for sure he would come back and go to A&M.
Details starting to surface on Scott. Looks like his car was getting repossessed from his apartment by a woman and he stopped her before she was able to leave the complex. Scott managed to open the door and pull her out and was accused of assault because of it. Can't touch a woman like that, so we'll see if his punishment is more harsh since this whole thing involved a female.
That's not as bad as I imagined. I figured he punched his girlfriend or something....
Hopefully he's not kicked off the team for that. Assuming there is minimal jail time, I hope he is only suspended for some games.
It sounds like Christian Scott is done at Texas if this is true:

Scott, whom Doyle said she recognized from a previous repossession of Scott's Cadillac last year, got out of the Mustang and began yelling profanities at her, according to the report. Doyle told police that Scott pulled her from the Cadillac and threw her to the ground.
Scott then fled in the Cadillac, according to the affidavit. He was arrested at a nearby gas station.
Ok nevermind. That's worse than I imagined
It's bad. Christian can't even claim that he thought the repo lady was trying to steal his car if he meet her before and knew that she worked for the repo company. Fleeing the scene is also not good.

Bad news guys. Kennedy Estelle now talking about taking official visits according to 247.
Estelle said repeatedly in the article that he was solid to Texas. Yes he did discuss official visits, but Gerry Hamilton said he's not concerned about Estelle's commitment.
He better get a good job then to pay for the fare.
Official visits are paid for by the school.

if your girlfriend said she is committed to your relationship but just wants to meet other guys and go on dates, to me i follow actions more than words.

4. OT Andrus Peat (6-7, 290) Tempe, Ariz. — This rangy left tackle is long and athletic, basically looking like a prototype, and has won praise for his technique and disposition. Florida made his most recent cut-down to 13 teams, but getting Peat to Gainesville has been problematic so far. He said he wanted to visit in July but didn’t make it. Instead, he has raved about visits to Texas and Florida State.
8. WR Nelson Agholor (6-2, 180) Tampa, Fla. — Agholor is a remarkable athlete who can play multiple positions, but the Gators are recruiting him as a wide receiver. Still a bit raw, Agholor shows excellent speed, hands and instincts with the ball. He is close to narrowing his list to a top eight, and it would be surprising if Florida was not on it. It’s hard to know what Agholor is thinking, because he doesn’t believe in making his recruitment public. But his coach says Agholor’s interest in Florida is high, and he has already been on campus twice this year. If distance is a factor, Florida could be in great shape, as many of Agholor’s favorite schools (such as Texas and Southern Cal) are a lot farther away. Another factor for Agholor could be his close friendship with UF safety commit Marcus Maye, who has echoed the sentiment that Agholor is seriously considering the Gators.
Any word on how Tevin Jackson and Malcolm Brown have been doing? I have yet to see either in the practice photos.
Malcolm Brown has been limited by a leg injury, it's not considered serious.
Tevin has performed very well. Texas is very deep at LB, but Tevin could see some time this year. He's been described as a scud missle.
Good pull chronic.
