Durant trying to play good guy. "Opportunity to match up against Kawhi Leonard for 6 games". He usually sits there and constantly talks about how there are no 1 on 1 match ups. And also they didn't even match up for the majority of the series. I've never really liked him because he's so fake. Just my opinion.

Damn. I didn't know Pop was 2-11 when facing elimination on the road. The Spurs need a Wartime Consigliere in moments like these. Pop is basically Tom Hagen.

Refs were a big reason for the turn out of this series. You'd think out of embarrassment they'd call obvious fouls on the Hall of Fame great Tim Duncan. At least I won't spend all summer waiting for basketball to start. We had a great year until the playoffs.

I have criticized Kawhi the last few years for not being consistent on the offensive end and said that he was not a natural offensive scorer which this series proves. Like you said an elite offensive player will always be greater than elite defensive player. That's how this league work. Duncan was special because he was elite on both ends of the floor. I don't think Kawhi has the ability to be an elite offensive player simply due to having average ball handling skills at best.

But Id add I wouldnt be surprise if he came back next year MUCH improved handling the ball
