Slomo - know it's early and not customary but wanted to bring a different energy. The last game threads were all late and a battle. If no objections, can we sticky?
Hope people don't mind the early game thread, but I wanted to make this one.
Nothing fancy in this post. I'm done analyzing the games. SA, despite everything bad, has been in every game. I have no doubt they are capable of winning.
Good shots, bad shots I no longer care. Make shots. Fight. Win.

I'm good with this. Mix things up a little bit. We need all the luck we can get since it'll be 5 on 8 tomorrow.
Spurs need to leave it all on the court. They may surprise themselves what that can lead to.
Goddamn I feel like . Watching this game is gonna be tough. Every bucket of OKC will get Timmy&Manu closer to retirement.

If the refs let them play Spurs have a shot (even with Pop's terrible rotations). Just bring energy and fight like it's your last game ever (since it will be for quite a few players).
Man, I hope LMA and Kawhi have huge games tmrw night. Tim can't go out like a punk, especially not to a got team like OKC.

If the Spurs can just keep the battle of the boards in check as well as not letting OKC setup camp at the FT line you have to like the Spurs chances
It's time for LMA and Kawhi to step up. No excuses. Demand the ball and take it to the rim.
Spurs won't go down without a fight. They are obvious dogs at this point, but one good team performance can make some OKC sphincters pucker up during game 7. It is not over yet.
If Timmy and Manu go out like this, so be it. They have nothing to be ashamed of. 5. In another universe it was 7. In another, only 3. The Spurs future is still bright. You can't pick who you cheer for in June after it is all over. Some more changes will be made and they will be playing again next May.

Just show fight & make shots. That's it. Spurs have done everything else enough to win games. Sure, if SA does better on the boards then they win. Sure, if they actually get equal calls when they deserve they win. Sure, if Waiters remembers he's a 39%FG shooter they win.
But again, even with all of that, Spurs were in every game and missed so many open looks that it shouldn't matter. Make shot. Everyone step up, focus and just execute on the easy ones. No one is asking you to throw in 3's at the buzzer like WB. No one is asking you to flip in backwards over the head shots like Adams. Just make your well executed open looks at a normal clip and you win.
It's 509-495 in favor of SA this series through 5 games, yet SA has lost 3 out of 4 tight games. It's fluky.

Yeah, he even admitted he wants OKC to face the Warriors next round... But even he thinks the Spurs should have won the series.
Yes, Spurs is the Atlanta Hawks of the East now - laughing stock. Only good in regular season. No Superstar to carry the team
