Despite the scoreboard, Wizards are being the aggressors. They are driving it to the paint and getting fouls, while the Spurs are shooting jump shots. If it weren't for the hot shooting of Tim and Roger, this game would look much uglier.

Need to pack the paint on one end, and start driving at the other. Getting Parker in will help, but even he is settling for jumpers.

His ballhandling, and ability to drive with it, has only improved marginally IMO (he's a better getting wide open looks off his pick and rolls); he's getting to the same positions essentially but he's knocking down his wide open shots. The main difference is he can pass out of the danger zone now. That look to Dyess late in the 1st was a very tough pass.

I disagree..

I haven't seen an improvement in his ball-handling, but his driving ability looks a lot smoother IMO..last year he would just drive with tunnel vision and throw up a bad shot at the backboard..

this year he's smoother and controlled..he's no longer in tunnel vision..he's making good passes on the drive and finishing a lot better than last year..he's shooting 12% higher at the rim than last year according to NBA Hot Spots..
