He hasn't been healthy in a few seasons, his DRtg is 108 to 110 over the last two seasons his ORtg 101 and 99 but they're not that far off what they were in LA. For a 10 day contact it's okay but really doesn't address a need. Just the FO getting a used to be in order to make it look like they are trying.

The Spurs tried him over in Training camp, if I am not wrong. So, it isn't as if they didnt' get to see whether he was upto usefulness. Seriously, the Spurs' lack of due diligence to find a backup for Kawhi, is a bit odd, considering their general proficiency otherwise.
