Spurs had a 2 point lead with less than 2 seconds on the clock. Context is indeed everything. It's not a recorded event being played back... Dallas would run different plays if they needed more points. They wouldn't just do the exact same thing and score the exact same points. Get stops. Only neophyte ball watchers think the problem is always the offense.
Defense wins championships. Sloppy possessions lose them. Duh.

Spurs just showing how vulnerable they are. A few of us called it out earlier in the season were laughed at and told "its only (insert month)" or that they have the best record that we are idiots and there is nothing to worry about.

You don't come back from a nutpunch like Game Six, as Game Seven showed. Been saying all year we would be lucky to get out of the second round.

Harbingers of doom include Coach of the Year, Number One Seed, and scoring so many points early. We did that against the Flakers for years. They always roared back to kill us.

That was not championship defense. A 3 beats you so don't allow 3's. Force them into contested 2's and at worst you get overtime.

There was no time for a two and Dallas is playing with house money. No one expects them to win this series and the longer the Spurs allow them to stay close, the more confidence they gain. Carter's game winner wasn't as difficult as it seems. There was no pressure on that shot because nobody expected him to make it and the chances of him hitting it were probably less than 5%. Shots that don't require much thought are often times, the most dangerous.

None of the above. We didn't lose this game. The Mavericks won it.

The chances were actually pretty good. Carter practices that shot everyday. That's the same shot he missed in 2001 with a chance to go to the NBA Finals. He hasn't forgotten that.

And Manu being a re twice when we had a chance to step on their throat is why we lost. The last shot would have been irrelevant. Just so happens he screwed us twice.....redeemed it....and then gave it away again. So fed up with brainless basketball.

They are not scrubs. Especially Danny. 3 straight WCF, 1 final and possibly a 2nd final in a row? Not too reliant on scrubs.

DPG21920, would you say those are scrub-like #'s? Btw, big-ups to your other "non-scrubs" (Mills and Beli)--they are definitely defending your argument this postseason.
Silly argument. Where was that last year? This series over?
Well, last year Beli wasn't on the Spurs, Patti was waving a towel, and Green went AWOL in the 2 most pivotal games of the series. So....
