Dallas would run different plays if they needed more points. They wouldn't just do the exact same thing and score the exact same points. Get stops. There was no time for a two and Dallas is playing with house money. No one expects them to win this series and the longer the Spurs allow them to stay close, the more confidence they gain. Carter's game winner wasn't as difficult as it seems. There was no pressure on that shot because nobody expected him to make it and the chances of him hitting it were probably less than 5%. Shots that don't require much thought are often times, the most dangerous.

The chances were actually pretty good. Carter practices that shot everyday. That's the same shot he missed in 2001 with a chance to go to the NBA Finals. He hasn't forgotten that.

And Manu being a re twice when we had a chance to step on their throat is why we lost. The last shot would have been irrelevant. Just so happens he screwed us twice.....redeemed it....and then gave it away again. So fed up with brainless basketball.
