Obviously, not getting a solid contribution from Mills overall hurt, as did another big day for Ellis.

However, it's easy to overlook the fact that the Spurs made an amazing string of clutch plays late.

Vince Carter. He made a great shot to win it. Spurs played a uva game but didn't find a way to win it, no biggie. Just got to go out and get the next one.

    1. Pop
    2. Defense(which is partly Pop's fault)

Parker was out of gas, can't fault him after playing so well in the 1st half..

Vince Carter is one of the best tough-shot makers and game-winning shot makers in NBA history, he made a great shot, the game wasn't lost on 1 possession..

    Manu of course...again.

Forget the terrible defense on the three at the end (surprised he didn't foul...again). His last three attempt (brick) when we were up by five (early in the shot clock...again....as usual) when a two seals the game....let Dallas back in it.

    Per par.

Why Pop? He can't be blamed for Carter's flukey three? (And neither can Manu)

His gameplan and subsequent adjustment or lack thereof tbh have really killed the team so far. The rotation is completely shot.

Carlisle has badly outcoached him so far.

So a two seals the game but Manu scored two after that and the Spurs lost. How does a 2 seal the game?

I blame it on bad luck. Its not Manu's fault he did a great job guarding that shot its a shot that 9 out of 10 times Carter misses but this time it came in.

Sad to say, Bonner WAS actually spacing the floor this game when he came in. Helped the spurs regain control in the 4th.

Because then we are up by five with 1:40 to play. Instead Dallas went the other way.
