    That Boston wouldn't be?

I seriously doubt the Spurs do anything for a while.
    Boston is interested in Leonard.

ESPN DX latest/final? mock has the Spurs taking Robert Williams with Zhaire and Huerter on the board going the next two picks. Allegedly, Spurs really want Lonnie Walker.

    Second round is Justin Jackson

    no.
That package is far less than Kawhi's worth, and I am actually pretty low on his current value...
Tatum instead of Brown with including Mills for Smart on the other hand...
#4 and Brown is a pretty damn good basis for a trade tbh

    I'm still with :

    1. Zhaire
    2. Huerter
    3. Williams
    4. Mitc Javale Robinson

    And

    5. De'Anthony Melton

Don't want Grayson, DiVencenzo, Troy Brown, Jerome Robinson

    Indifferent on Okobo, Okogie

Looking at reach, and hand size verses height the closest thing to Kawhi is Melvin Frazier, but as a SG.
    Kawhi - reach 8-10 hand 9.8 height 6-7
    Frazier - reach 8-9 hand 9.5 height 6-5

Would not be surprised if this has an impact with Spurs. No other SF/SG comes close in measurements.

Might break if we waste our pick on Huerter, DiVincezo, or Musa. Drunkford can't possibly be that stupid....

would be shocked if spurs made any trade involving leonard tonight. if there is any movement that wouldn't surprise me it would be the spurs doing something with the 18th pick.

not sure why williams seems to be dropping in the more recent mocks but he'd be great to pick up if he was still around at 18.

We both know they bombing this pick and this draft. They don't have the fire to evaluate talent and need for this team. It's gonna be frustrating when they pick and undersized PG.

Smart. A top pick and a nice young player is good. I'd much rather have that than say second-overall.

Why would this be KL related?
It might not be. But it seems like everyone who would be interested in Kawhi has been trying to get a top-five pick recently.

I'm beginning to think the Spurs may have their eye on 6'7" guard Kevin Huerter from Maryland. Great 3 point shooter who also has some jumping ability.

Some think he may be another Klay Thompson.

Is he the shortest and least athletic available? If so, that's our pick.

Get ready for the "Spurs just did it again!", "How do they keep getting the steal of the draft?!", and "future Finals MVP" hot takes by the ball licking PATFO mainstream media.

The other day, somebody on twitter said something along the lines of "Spurs drafting in the teens is like other teams drafting in the top 5"

have been years since the spurs really had a draft steal. the other scouting teams catched up to us in the last decade.

They don't really have an edge in any facet of scouting anymore, it was inevitable that the league would catch up to their international scouting..

Daryl Morey spoke about this a few months ago..not just about the Spurs(he did mention how they were far ahead of the league in international scouting in the 90s and 2000s), but how difficult it is in general for front offices to find an edge over other teams in the draft nowadays..

Spurs twitter and Spurs Facebook are as cancerous as it gets. Just a bunch of middle aged Mexicans and white guys who have "Go eSpurs Go" on the back of their cars. God forbid you even criticize the Milutinov pick around those fluffers.

Don't be greedy. The Spurs had a steal just twelve months ago with White.
