None of those guys were playing for the right to be in the Super Bowl.
I'd rather watch Sex in the City.
None of those guys were playing for the right to be in the Super Bowl.
from Mark Kreigel's latest column:
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7703922?MSNHPHMA
With 9:14 left in the second quarter, word came over the press box P.A. system: "LaDainian Tomlinson has a sore knee. He can return."
Then Norv Turner came out after the game and told reporters, "The doctors and trainers said he couldn't go."
If I didn't know better, I'd think he was lying.
put them in the AFC or NFC Championship Game after being taken off the injury report completely, and we'll see.
Why not just listen to what that guy who was on the field has to say, you know that guy called the coach? Norv specifically mentions he doesn't understand how or where they got that information, but it was wrong. I suppose Mark Kreigel was at the game along with you and talked to LT while he sat on the bench the entire game.
Yeah I forgot that when sports figures talk to the media, they always tell the truth.

You just can't get over that can you. Just come out and say it then. You feel the Chargers weren't playing fair by leaving Tomlinson off the injury report, I've got no problem with you saying that. But to pussy foot around the topic and call him a cowardly because he wouldn't play on a sprained MCL?
Man up dude, state your opinion, say they cheated............oh wait,
maybe that would then totally contradict your defending of the Patriots own cheating scandal.
I don't give a about the Chargers cheating on the injury report, if in fact they did it. But they didn't. The fact that they'd hide LT's injury completely while making Philip Rivers' injury such public knowlege makes zero sense. It makes zero sense for them to cheat on the injury report.
My whole point is that the injury report is the truth, and that LT pussed out.
And I forgot the media was always accurate and correct in their reporting.![]()
It's tough to up reporting an injury report.
Haterade post of the year candidate.
I understand that the truth hurts when the classiest man on earth is involved, but sometimes you just have to accept that he's in fact a whiny little pussy.
You quoted something passed on during the game, that is hardly an injury report.
The truth.....according to you? Okaaaaaaaaaaay.
where do you think that "word that came over the press box P.A." came from? no possible way someone who works for the Chargers passed that along, right?
And you truly believe this?
And you truly don't?
It is true, LT was not injured. Tomlinson pulled me aside and asked for a doctor's note that he could hand to Norv after the first series stating his knee was too fragile to play on. He was overwhelmed by the pressure of the big game and decided it was best to fake an injury and let his backups play for him. Don't believe me, just look back at the Indy game. Did it surprise you he sat out the whole second half with another fake injury?
It's simple baby! Philip Rivers stole LT's mojo baby yeah!
LT's Career Stats
I questioned the severity of LT's injury after the game against the Patriots. But he deserves the benefit of the doubt. No one really knows how bad he was hurt except himself.Code:Year Team G Att Att/G Yds Avg Yds/G TD Lng 1st 1st% 20+ 40+ FUM 2007 San Diego Chargers 16 315 19.7 1,474 4.7 92.1 15 49 75 23.8 13 2 0 2006 San Diego Chargers 16 348 21.8 1,815 5.2 113.4 28 85T 81 23.3 12 7 2 2005 San Diego Chargers 16 339 21.2 1,462 4.3 91.4 18 62 71 20.9 8 2 2 2004 San Diego Chargers 15 339 22.6 1,335 3.9 89.0 17 42 68 20.1 6 1 5 2003 San Diego Chargers 16 313 19.6 1,645 5.3 102.8 13 73T 81 25.9 12 5 2 2002 San Diego Chargers 16 372 23.2 1,683 4.5 105.2 14 76 90 24.2 12 2 2 2001 San Diego Chargers 16 339 21.2 1,236 3.6 77.2 10 54 67 19.8 7 1 5 TOTAL 111 2,365 21.3 10,650 4.5 95.9 115 85 533 22.5 70 20 18
I will always be a Skins fan but I hope these Chargers win one Super Bowl before LT is done.
Hey TSA, I appreciate your support homey. But monosylab1k is right. I was just being a pussy.
Terrell Davis has LT's back. He basically stated that LT didn't look right when he was running. And if he can't cut or avoid tacklers, he couldn't help the team.
He stated what I stated, LT deserves the benefit of the doubt.
