For whatever reason, I'm thinking of my favorite memory ever as a Mavs fan.
It was Finley's first full season with the team. I can't even remember who they were playing. I think it was New Jersey but I could be wrong.
Anyways, the Mavs were down by two, and Finley hoisted a last second halfcourt shot to win. The ball went in, and replays clearely showed that the shot left Finley's hand before 0.0 but THE ING REFS waved the shot off and refused to look at a replay.
All I remember is Finley following the refs all they way off the court and into the tunnel pleading his case. That's how passionate that guy was. That made me fall in love with Michael Finley in the most non-gay way possible.

Mavs are out of time...a worthy comeback effort.
The Mavericks and Spurs need to have their head's checked. Both teams (and their fans) are becoming text-book hypochondriacs.

I don't know how to feel. They showed some pride by hustling and coming back....but the way the West is, wins are precious. The playoffs have already started. There's no excuse for not protecting homecourt when the Lakers are shorthanded.
