Mavs are still a matchup problem for the Spurs yet people keep on forgetting that. I want nothing more than to face the Spurs in round 1. There is more than a great chance for the Mavs to win that series. The beautiful part is there is more than a realistic chance of that happening!

That's okay...the Lakers barely escaped in OT against the Wizards, and the Spurs curb stomped the Rockets...we all know who is the better team.

Spurs will probably be #1 or #2 in the West come playoff time...they will probably get the Mavs or the Nuggets in the first round...either one should fall to the Spurs.

I think NO and PHO are teams I wouldn't want for the Spurs in the first round. I want them to have a good warm up, before being thrown into a crazy battle.

I don't want to face Phoenix in the first round. They're looking too good lately. I can't believe it, but they seem to have found a way to win without Marion and with Shaq.

I want Houston in the first round. I wouldn't mind the warriors either. (rather face GSW than DEN, though I think SA takes both)


I don't know what to make of phoenix, they are playing well to their credit, but I guess if there were two teams I wouldn't mind avoiding it would be NO and PHX.

GS will be out the first round this year unless they somehow get Houston. They won't have another cinderella series, even though I would love for them to defeat the Suns, but realistically I don't see that happening.
Unless Dirk gets back soon, Mavs will be out of the playoffs. Even if Dirk gets back and he's not 100%, I can see the Nuggets and Warriors taking the last two spots.
