Damn we're ed![]()
They've already had some practice with Begging this offseason tbh
Houston is gonna b scary .g.st,spurs,okc,clipps on watch
I can see a Josh Smith for Asik+filler S&T.
So now the question is will LA do a S&T? What will Houston offer? Lin + Asik? lol
Would make so much sense for both teams.
Hahahahah lakers u kn losers lololol
Lol, ESPN just had to quote USA Today breaking the story
LaKers get walked out on lol
If I were GS, I would very quickly renege on the trade with UTA. I would pull out now. No Dwight makes getting Iggy very costly and possibly not very fruitful. You lose Jack/Landry/2 1sts/multiple seconds and have to pay him 48M?
If this is in fact true (not sure how Amick managed to beat Wojnarowski and the other top insiders, but it's not like he's some virtual unknown like the idiot out of Phoenix that claimed the Spurs were in serious discussions for Gortat), then I don't get the Iguodala move by the Warriors.
Sure, at times, they can get away with playing Barnes at PF, but for the most part, they've limited him to roughly half a game off the bench, which will obviously stunt his development, plus given away 2 future 1sts and a quality 3D wing, in Rush and for what? I like Iguodala, but he doesn't boost their ceiling enough to justify the move.
I told you people a month ago howard was going to houston
For Spurs, it's better to have Howard going to Rockets than to Lakers because it removes a team with cap space.
Right now these are the team with more than the MLE in cap sapce:
Atlanta, Cleveland, Dallas, Detroit, Milwaukee, Orlando, Philadelphia and Sacramento.
I really hope Spurs will pick the cap space + room exception option. I feel it's now a buyers market.
Kennedy is full of got. Don't listen to him. He's trying once again to get traffic.
It's AK's versatility that makes him a better choice. He doesn't have to play much 4 against bigger teams, playing back-up 3 instead. Now, I have no idea if he's okay with this and wants onboard, but we don't know that about Millsap either.
The difference between West & Millsap vs. the Heat is that West has a back-to-the-basket game and can back Lebron or other defenders down. Millsap doesn't do that. He shoots 12 footers. And his offensive rebound rate has fallen to 8% - half of what it was when he was rookie. He's not good on the boards anymore.
Ken Berger from CBS reporting Dwight calling teams to inform them he chose Houston.
Assuming the Spurs actually plan on being players in FA. In all likelihood they don't and this move is probably bad for them in that case. For Spurs, it's better to have Howard going to Rockets than to Lakers because it removes a team with cap space.
