Bloomberg might end up doing as well as Steyer in the end when the people actually vote. Almost every poll done in SC had him at or around 15-17% and he under perform them mightily.

I still can't understand how this guy is drawing any traction at all with any Dem voter. His commercials seem so scripted and fake its ridiculous. His latest commercial he has all these women talking about how great a guy he is.

Bloomer announced that even if he does ty on Super Tuesday he’s going to stay in the race which is good news for Sanders but it’s still dumb. The DNC should be pushing Warren and Bloomer to drop out ASAP. A straight up race between Sanders and Biden is the best way to avoid a brokered convention or controversy around who deserves to be nominee.

I know plenty of other BernieBros will still act butthurt but in a scenario where Sanders has a delegate lead over Biden after Super Tuesday but Biden still ends up with more delegates in a H2H race against Sanders after all the primaries are over it means Biden won fair and square w/o any super delegate help/momentum.

That's really dumb if true. I wonder if he's just saying that because to say otherwise might cost him some votes on ST.

I was bullish on Bloomberg's chances a couple of months ago, he was definitely taking the right approach focusing on states with a lot of delegates. But his marketing people were careless about outreach, the paying for influencer thing (which everyone does) was a bad look publicly, and the debate was poison. From talking to people on the inside, his biggest issue is he's surrounded by yes-men who don't challenge his worst instincts. Another unfortunate similarity to the current POTUS.

I don't know that they look any worse than most political ads but given that he's running them so often, they have to be better. And they've gotten worse. Heard a radio ad this morning touting Bloomberg as the only candidate that can handle a crisis like Coronavirus because 9/11.

He also had one narrated by a very strokey sounding Michael Douglas.

Wonder if they have been doing internal polling showing them losing Minnesota. The polls do show her winning there but those polls are fairly old.

I think it’s less to do with the DNC and more to do with the fundraisers cutting off these 1 percenters and flocking to Biden now.

Even if she stayed in and lost a close race it probably costs Sanders at least 20 delegates.

The real curious case at this point is Warren. She might be the hatchet woman the DNC is using to take Sanders votes.

Even though he said he’s staying in race no matter what I think Bloomer drops out this week and starts throwing money towards Biden.
