They need to build a camp for the looters where they can hold and interrogate them without any outside surveilance.

Damn, WWL told a story of a looter shooting a cop earlier this afternoon. Cop and his partner tried to stop some looters, one cop turned his back on the looters and got shot.
Other cop shot the shooter, called back up. They arrested four armed looters.
Cop and shooter in stable condition at a NO hospital.
My racist ? I didn't even start any racist .
I as many other were simply commenting on the news and their protrayal of the looters.
Don't get pissy at me kid.
Stop the crap, losers.
fyi...some looters are shooting people. A cop was shot in the head by a looter.
This girl I've been working with the past few days has a brother in the military, working in a military hospital outside Biloxi. They are completely trapped without food and medicine - both of which are on the ground floor which is completely under water. They've also lost power and the generators will probably only last a little longer. They're hoping that helicopters can provide some assistance, but they're worried that people will start dying once the generators go out.
"A looter carries a bucket of beer out of a grocery store in New Orleans on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, as floodwaters continue to rise in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina made landfall on Monday."
A young man walks through chest deep flood water after looting a grocery store in New Orleans on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005. Flood waters continue to rise in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina did extensive damage when it made landfall on Monday.
"Two residents wade through chest-deep water after finding bread and soda from a local grocery store after Hurricane Katrina came through the area in New Orleans, Louisiana."
FYI... the captions are real.

I know that - thus my statement -- IF LOOTERS AREN'T SHOOTING PEOPLE, LET THEM LOOT. In other words, if they are just looting, let them loot. Obviously if they are shooting people or hurting people in another way, then take them in. But to concentrate so much effort on the looters when the whole city is going to be underwater in the morning is ludicrious.
ljinprincessland: can you go find me a coke zero or do i have to go loot one

where on cnn.com is the video of the husband?
Those captions are classic. The black people "looting" soda and beer but the white people happened to just "find" bread.
Okay, that's all my commentary on the race issue.
I just think it's funny that guy looted beer.
Hey, maybe that's all that was left...I just think it's funny that guy looted beer.
I love the one in his back pocket

never mind. I had a different comment that I just deleted...I didn't catch the looting crack at first. I just liked the photo, didn't realize the sarcastic reason behind your posting it. Too bad this thread has turned into a race thing.
Did anyone besides me see the video of Wal-Mart being looted and the reporter talking to people, asking why they're looting. Then the camera man and reporter go to the shoe section and TWO FEMALE COPS have a cart full of stuff and are putting shoes in. Then they notice the cameras and one of the cops walks off with the cart and the other is questioned by the reporter.
"What are you doing here?"
"Looking for looters."
I swear to god!
Holy , there's a barge a quarter mile inland in Gulfport, MS, sitting in the middle of a street.
