I'd say she's butthurt that liberal cost the Dems the house, but in her defense most of those seats were lost because it was Trump on the ballot. I can't imagine there would have been that many split ticket voters after impeachment. However i believe they do need to get rid of "defund the police" not the argument but call it something else before 2022
I have no problem with her or anybody else pointing fingers, tbh... and I'm way more adept to her ideas than the Blue Dog stains. Just calling it how it see it, tbh

I don't know about that. Maybe Louie Gohmert doesn't confront openly with the party, but every time he opens his mouth and says something stupid, the party ends up having to spend time doing damage control.

I would hate to see AOC going that route, tbh
Not really. A lot more people know who AOC is than Louie Gohmert. The only people who pay any attention to Louie Gohmert outside of his congressional district are liberals who are looking for ammunition to call conservatives stupid (which Gohmert regularly provides).

But they aren't and are unlikely to be. Much like Bernie or what Ron Paul was to the GOP, they're there to scare the other side.
That's what I meant, not that they will ever lead the party.

So yeah, AOC has 10,000,000 followers on twitter. Gohmert has 3,800. Not sure the impact each of them have is comparable

    Thanks to Fox News.

She'd be just another voiceless congresswoman without Fox nightly AOC+3 segments.

    Hope you keep your word

1% chance anyone at the level, or left of her win the primary in 2024
I doubt the Republican party will find someone as genuinely lazy, incompetent and corrupt as Trump. I mean as far as corruption goes they have a pretty deep bench. Not as deep when it comes to incompetant, but you never know, with them picking Qanon morons for congress they may get another trifecta.

Their electorate certainly seems to have a bottomless appe e for all three. Who knows what gets past the primaries.

AOC is like a crazed goat out there picking fight with every single moderate democrats she can. She needs to keep her feelings in check for now.

    Feuding with Joe Manchin now

Any other time I'd be in her corner on this one but she's sucking all the positive energy dems have right now with these lame fights.Way too much AOC news lately.

I understand the feuds with moderates like Feinstein, Manchin not so much. The mere fact Manchin is a vote for Schumer over McConnell as majority leader makes him infinitely better than any other senator we’d get from West Virginia.

This feud is also stupid since Manchin was trying to HELP Ossoff and Warnock by saying even if they win there won’t be enough votes for any court packing. He made it so they could campaign on limiting McConnell’s power without facing as much backlash. The time for this feud is after the Democrats have 49 votes in favor of nuking the filibuster and need a 50th. Right now they don’t have votes 48 or 49 yet.

Exactly. He's realiable when you need him to be. He can be republican lite all he wants but for the most part, he's voted along with democrats on some major stuff like not voting for handmaid's tale judge, Trump's impeachment on both counts, voting against most of Trump's shill appointments like Ratcliffe etc.

I actually liked what he said about not being for defunding the police. How and why that triggered AOC is puzzling.

I also think he’s not as firmly against the filibuster as he leads on. All signs point to him not running again in 2024, and I think if McConnell is being totally obstructionist Manchin would come around to actually doing something with his last 4 years in the senate. In the meantime it’s politically smart for him to say he’s against it when they’re trying to pick up two senate seats in Georgia.
