Rondo also bent his elbow 90 degrees the opposite way and his career wasn't over

tbh not a good comparison to compare someone to that freak Rondo
Didn't Rondo come back later in that same game after that disgusting backwards bend of the elbow?

Yeah Rondo is some kind of rubber superman plus hes what 25?

I remember when I was 25 I could take anything, now at 30s its a whole different ballgame. It's definitely a good sign Duncan stood and could "walk".

but still, I'd brace for the worst.

Stephen Jackson: "I don't know what's happening with Tim but I saw him walk out of here, so that's always good."

You can still walk even on a serious knee injury but it's relatively good news that he's apparently not in a wheelchair or on crutches or anything.

The ankle sprain and knee sprain without any ligament damage means that Tim probably won't play again in February IMO..Sean himself also said that Tim will probably "take a few weeks off"(although like timvp said, he probably doesn't know anything of substance yet)..

If he returns by the first week of April, I'll be relieved..

Parker said he spoke to Duncan after injury. Take it with grain of salt, but was in good spirits, doesn't appear to anything too major

Looked bad but he's had a couple injuries that looked serious where he was back relatively quick. That Warriors game back in 2011 he suffered a bad looking injury but was back in like a week or something. Hoping for the best.

I'm just hoping for any return. I don't care if Duncan takes the next two months off. It will probably hurt our record, but I just want a healthy squad.

The argument can be made that the Spurs would rather be precautious than to allow TD to further aggravate the injury. Just a thought.

I've had a basketball knee injury before, and it wasn't even an ACL tear, just a sprain. was one of the worst pains I've experienced in my life. The fact that Tim is mobile and walking on his own is great news.

My friend tore her ACL in November of 2011. She didn't even realize it and only got surgery done 8 months ago.

What was the overall at ude of the Celtics' players and Doc after the game where Rondo hurt himself? Before the ACL news?

Yeah, but it was a fluke. Could have happened any time. You're still at anger/bargaining.
