Not funny & classless.
as a matter of fact, i do have class.
class of 2012.
what class were you again?
until you've attended every home game in the student section watching colt and the most stacked team in college football destroy compe ion to one of the biggest cluster programs the next couple of seasons, you have no room to speculate about class. longhorn network is a joke, aggies coming out of the woodwork, losing at home to terrible teams...damn right beating ou feels good. i'm happy they did and wouldn't trade it for anything, but it doesn't make up at all what the students have had to go through the past three years or so. UT is supposed to be a flagship ins ution that doesn't settle for mediocrity. no moral victory here imo.
im pretty sure when all of your conference opponents are clamoring for coach to stay, it's time for coach to go.
Tom Landry stayed too long. If he can stay to long, then is there any question Mack Brown can be put in the same boat?
A head coach creates the atmosphere/culture of a program, and Mack lost control of this ship that is UT Football. A college head coach hires and coaches his assistants and Mack has failed to hire the right people over the last four seasons. The assistant coach re-boot from a couple of years ago has had less than satisfactory results. From the articles I've read, the assistant coaches are all protecting their turf and MB wants to smooth things over and have a happy environment - accountability from top to bottom has gone out the window. Players are neither being coached nor conditioned properly
I don't care what happened on Saturday, the big picture is unchanged. Mack will not have the fire and vision to truly bring the program back to the forefront. He seems like a decent guy and he's done a wonderful job in Austin. I wish he would bow out gracefully and hand the keys over to the next guy.
Then I don't give a .
Lol. He also tore it down. If you want the love and adulation for success, you've got to take the rest when your complacency and inep ude causes the bonfire to collapse.
edit: probably too soon, but it.
When FkLA is out engineering in the real world making the big $$$, I will donate a Coker statue tbh. What he's done for the university and program is immeasurable. There isn't anything he could do on the football field that would make me turn on him the way UT has on poor Mack.
I love Larry Coker.![]()
Whats your degree in brah? Not in engineering Im assuming.![]()
Actually my first degree was in Bio-Medical Engineering, my second was in Marketing.
Yeah, that seems plausible. I know tons of people that go back for a marketing degree after theyve obtained an engineering one.![]()
No, the Turd got sucks at his job, was never that great (remember the 63-14 asswhooping by OU in 2000 or the Holiday Bowl loss to Wazzu in '03?), was bailed out by McCoy and Vince Young, and has overstayed his welcome, so it's not a surprise that Texasfan wants him gone before he does any more damage to their program
If any one coach can be said to have "built up the UT football monster," it's DKR....
What is a 'turd got'? Another ST thing you decided to jump on and ride ??
Every coach that wins has talent, including a couple transcendent players.
Just FYI to throw some reason out there. My wife has a chemical engineering degree from UT with an emphasis in marketing and went back for an MBA. So, it is plausible. Depending on what kind of engineerng you're doing you may want to look into some marketing courses to make the big $$$$. She did it because she was tired of being on the platforms.
Hmmm I'm currently in my junior year of electrical engineering, primary focus in energy systems & renewable energy. For my secondary focus I have the opportunity to take classes in another field (business, economics, even music).
Keep it quiet, we don't want LOL UTSA to know that people work in fields outside of their degree.
If sahoopster's wife she got tired of it thats fine, although still somewhat unusual imho.
It really comes down to you not striking me as engineer material tbh. I dont believe you ever earned that degree--marketing possibly but not engineering.
Maybe you arent as re ed in real life as you are on ST though. Who knows.
Are you re ed? Before I continue, I would like to know the answer to that question.
