Leonard was just unlucky for the most part. I won't know for sure until I do the breakdown tomorrow, but I feel pretty confident that Diaw didn't have a good possession against James all game.
I don't think dwade is going to regret flopping for 2pts if he get's fined tbh. Instead of a flopping fine they should get suspended from playing in the 1st quarter of the next game.
they are beign kept in foul trouble. it's hard to guard lebron when they are giving him fouls. this is going 6 or 7. we'll win game 3. i'm convinced. miami's offense is all lebron and open 3's. that's all they have. lebron got hot in the 3rd, but we got to make him drive. we just cant play off of him 2 feet giving him what is basically open jumpers. that's game 7 of last year defense. i know we'll win game 3. i'm positive of it. lebron drives and kicks that ball out 95% of the time when we sent a big at him. every time. we got to prepare for him.

I don't know. I agree with you that I don't think Pop wants to do it. But Green as always guarded James better than Diaw has, even in Game Five last year. Especially with Miami's new offensive look this year, Diaw is just a horrible choice. Even Splitter would be better.
i just don't understand why anyone is concerned. we beat them by 15 in game 1, they beat us by 2 in game 2(with 4 straight missed freetthrows) and everyone thinks they just kicked out ass.

Lebron leaving Game 1 is the only reason the Spurs aren't headed to Miami down 0-2.
Green only finished with 3 fouls though. I understand they are calling some Bs fouls on them, but at this point having Belinelli on the floor is basically 5 on 4 like back in the Bonner days

Spurs would have 11 Championships too if playing against those teams you played against. Take off all of those rings and stop flaunting them as you probably have none if not for all of those hall of famers on your team playing against teams that weren't loaded with hall of famers.
Same deal as Miami. Give prime Duncan a Wade and Bosh and he'd be ringing non stop.
I'm not impressed with Miami at all. A team loaded with talent going against a team mostly of role players and aging superstars. Spurs need to realize this too and stop playing around and take them out.

Green needs to be on floor late in the 4th with Sugar K Kawi.
Both Kawi and Green provide Defense and Offense that spreads the floor.
After that, either Tony need to run his ass off to shake James or Manu need to run the offense.
I think Diaw should start Game 3 and defend Lewis. We can't let that scrub score 14 points on us.
Pop had a whole year to counter the the James on Parker stuff, and they still fell for it.

There's a major difference between guarding a spot-up players and guarding an on-ball player.
Anyway, it's not a meltdown. The stats show Diaw's not good on James. I wasn't saying that as endorsement of the idea, but rather to underline how ineffective Diaw has been.
