At risk folks need to stay home and consider their lifestyle choices.
    And also their family history.

Now you have boomers telling them they have to go get infected and possibly even die at their jobs, plus the company gets immunity and the worker doesn't get paid leave and can't afford healthcare if he loses his/her job.

The COVOMMBER virus struck much earlier than COVID, tbh...
It's amazing how McConnell keeps trying to outdo Trump's sleaziness. Though he has a long way to go to get there.

Basically they need to just off and/or die, I guess. Make way for the slightly younger and/or healthier folk.

Same message that lockdown is giving to low risk groups, who are now unemployed.

True, some Republican governments are doing that to the unemployed. Quite astute of you.

You don't die off being unemployed... not directly anyways... unlike the virus.

Right. I thought two-week declines were the goal before reopening but arbitrary date seems just as good. Cases and deaths are going to go up; I just want to know what numbers of deaths Abbott finds acceptable in a period of time. That's what it actually comes down to and it's the exact thing no one wants to talk about.
As long as it's just nursing home deaths I'm not sure the numbers matter

It needs to be factored in to the decision to open the economy. Nursing home residents aren't travelling for work.

Trump is the ‘biggest obstacle’ to beating COVID-19 —

and the GOP must ‘get rid of him’

“If Republicans actually want to get Americans back to work, what they have to do is simple: Get rid of Donald Trump now,”

“We’ll never know what 2020 would have looked like if the most powerful man on earth hadn’t

spent the beginning of this year echoing Chinese government propaganda and

    downplaying the threat of COVID-19.”

It is good for us to remember that, from an economic perspective, there is no such thing as a nonessential business. Every business puts food on someone's table and pays the rent/mortgage. And they are all intertwined.
