The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired the draft rights to forward Darnell Jackson from the Miami Heat in exchange for the lower of the Cavaliers two second round picks in the 2009 NBA Draft. They also purchased the rights to center Sasha Kaun from the Seattle SuperSonics.

Hickson has a good shot at being the 4th big next year if Andy is dealt for a shooting Guard. Jackson will probably go to the Erie D-league team whom the Cavs share with the 76'ers. Kaun signed a deal with a Russian club I believe. It will give him a few years to develop and if he is NBA worthy he would come over after the deal i presume.

Ferry went with big men, so he has to be solving the guard problems through trade or free agency.
