    PHX loses to Griz
    Pups lose to (omg!) Bucks

And Mavs is process of blowing it to the Heat in the fourth Q.

Miami on a 16-2 run, up by 5 with 5 min left.

All in all an excellent night from the Spurs POV...

Every loss either helps the Spurs gain ground or maintain a lead...Detroit V Washington was a push...although I would have preferred Detroit lose.

Sac just needs to whup on Seattle and the Spurs will have the outcome that favors them the most in every big game tonight.

Dallas takes a 3 point lead.

Phoenix and Minnesota losing was absolutely wonderfull.

According to the paper, Spurs win thursday, and Pop is the coach.

Yeah, we want the Mavs to win actually since they have a worse record than the Heat...it increases our chances of gaining HC throughout the playoffs.

Sac and Seattle may seem meaningless since they both have the same record, but we actually want Sac to win...since they aren't going to win the division, and since we have already won the season series from them and can only tie it against Seattle.

It's going good for us tonight.

Sorry, I can't ever root for Mavs to win. Mavs, Lakers, or Celtics.

Holy crap! Phoenix took 37 three pointers! They only made 11.

Oh, and the bench savior, Jim Jackson was 1-6, 3 points, 3 reb in 26 minutes.

The Grizz had 7 players in double figures and another at 9 points! Talk about a balanced attack...

ex, this was their 4th road game in 7 nights, I would think they were due to have an off night. Need I remind you that the Spurs lost to a horrible Blazers team that was w/o 3 of their players?

Jim - I sympathize, but 3 games in 4 nights trumps 4 games in 7 nights. Also, I notice that Phoenix tends to struggle against teams that actually play defense.

Honestly, Heat are probably the most over-rated team in league they are < 500 vs. West. They benefit so much from playing in East and the Pacers, Piston situation.

No way! Minny has a 4-6 record on the second night of back to backs, and they are only 2-1 at home in that situation...while Phoenix has one of the best records in the league in the second night of a back to back...

I don't have that kind of faith in Minnesota, so therefore I will not make a stupid bet.

Besides...you still owe me on Wilt winning ROY and MVP in the same year.

Howard didn't do anything to Elliot, but he did injure Derek Anderson in the 01 playoffs. He almost got Malik in that same series. Last year he knocked Manu out for 5 games...which lead to Hedo moving into the starting rotation and we all saw how that turned out...
