He will certainly give us a more physical presence then Oberto or slow-train Kurt Thomas.
he has the body and hes in shape to play.
Sound like a good idea to me. While we are at it maybe we should give the Iceman a call and see if he wants log some bench minutes too.
And yet you'll say we need to get younger when we hit a slump mid-season.
heres is one of those posts that brings out all the ignores on my list....dont think robinson would come back..............see how easy that was to answer without all the mickey mouse kindergarden replys all it takes is manners....
whatever happens to youth movement? if david comes back, our players' average will tough 99 years...;-)
Don't we have one of these threads about 3 times a year? One every offseason, one around January, and one around the second round of the playoffs? David Robinson was the best and was sole reason that I started watching the Spurs (and basketball in general), but we have to move on. We'll probably still be having these threads when the Admiral is 65.
What's with the age discrimination here?
I say the Spurs go after Bryce Maximus James as well.
Ten bucks says Bryce can take Bonner 1 on 1....right now.
I'd like to see it but no he wont he's too old
you Spursreport.
you for sending your dredge to us.
He did come out of retirement. He went from 50 to 15 and changed his name to James Gist
you're a genius. why dont you get sean el liot and avery johnson to play next year as well. geriatric team FTL
yea he could.
Has Robinson ever been quoted saying he wish he didn't retire? Any thoughts of a comeback in previous years?
I've never found anything from him saying he still wanted to play. I've found the opposite, that he was glad he retired when he did and went out a Champion. And he's said that he loves what he's doing, being with his kids and his charity work.
wow....
