Landry Next To Bolt Overseas?

Houston's Carl Landry may be the next NBA player to turn away offers from NBA teams to cash in overseas, his agent has told the Houston Chronicle.
"Carl would entertain all serious offers," Landry's agent, Buddy Baker, told Houston television station KRIV-TV on Wednesday. "There is serious interest in Carl by both other NBA teams and internationally."
On Wednesday, former Hawks' forward Josh Childress surprisingly made the jump from the NBA to Euroleague despite being wanted by Atlanta.

Would still suck. Landry is a rare talent. He has ball handling skills, a mid range shot and he gets to the rim. His Hollinger PER is 21.56 tops among all rookies.

and he is rated 18th overall in PER among all NBA players

This is a guy you want to keep and develop for the future.

would sting the rockets big time.
It wouldn't really matter, the kid is pretty raw. Take the money kiddo!
landry may have signed with the worst agent in the NBA. the guy already backed away from his statement and said that he hasn't had any offers from europe. landry needs to fire the guy and get signed.
landry will be a rocket. close all related threads, including this one.![]()
