Did you know they were going to be there?
It was a season ticket holder event ... they sent out invitations. They fed us & gave out prizes and power cards.
You could play against the players at 3 different games but the lines were too long so we just tried to get a few pictures and did our own thing...they weren't posing for pictures or autographs so they'd have more time to play with the *people* ...
It was pretty fun ... you should see the dragon User won for me

Damn, that dragon nearly gave me a migraine. It looks like the blind Matrix vision that Neo had in the last movie after his eyes were burnt from his head. I now know how that felt.
SW, it's not your camera, it's the settings you used...this may not be the politically correct statement to make, but damn...there's a reason Malik doesn't show up and Barry does. Try different settings.
Hahah yeah. Same with Rasho. Anyways, you have to set your digital camera into night mode.

I went to the D&B Thing today but didn't use my digital.So I have to wait for the prints.
I did take pictures with Malik, Bruce and Tony!

Actually....Rasho, Barry & Beno were at the games that were very well lit and I could get close. Malik, Bruce & Devin were at the one I couldn't get close to and that's as far as my zoom would go...
A photographer is the last thing I'd ever be accused of.....the only decent ones were the ones taken by User.
Autographs were HIGHLY discouraged....it would have taken time away from all of the people waiting in line to play games v. the players.
I pay alot of money in season tickets, They couldve broke off an autograph ona 3 figure jersey if I wanted.
I wonder why Manu didn't go? He was on the internet today replying to a lot of his emails. hmmm.
So does everyone else that was there, TPark...it was a season ticket holder party. I'm not aware of anyone that gets them for free.
They came in in sets of 3....each only for an hour. If they all stopped for autographs, there wouldn't have been time for their orginal purpose. The place was packed.

The lights fooled your camera into thinking there was sufficient lighting for your shots (i.e., if cameras can think). You have to force a flash. It's like taking a pic of people standing under a tree on a sunny day - you gotta use the flash, even if the brightness you're standing in makes the camera think it's got plenty of light.
Sorry, Tony Massenberg was there, not Parker. I just said Tony because someone had already said TM was there...so I didn't think I had to put the entire name. lol
Some people did get autographs (I have no use for them I guess...so I didn't bother). I'm fine with pictures.
OH! I knew I recognized you guys from somewhere SpursWoman. I was the chick behind you in line that was complaining about there only being one person working the bar...lol.
I went today as well.
It was really packed. Most of the players would give autographs between games as they were bringing in new people to play. I was able to get Beno, Brent, Bruce, and Malik's autograph. My girlfriend and her neice were able to get pictures with Brent, Bruce and Malik.
I was lucky and knew one of the people working at the car racing game and he let me in without waiting in the long, long line and I got to play the racing game with Malik. I know Malik isnt the most popular Spur on this board, and I havent always been his biggest fan, but let me tell you, he is one of a nice guy. Really nice, took the time to take pictures and talk to us. My girlfriend and I were buying a tv last night at best buy and Malik was buying one too. Had a chance to talk to him and look at tvs together. Today, after the game was over, security tried to rush us out when we were trying to get a picture and autograph and Malik told the Spurs Rep to hold on and that he knew us from best buy and to give us a moment, which i thought was prety cool.
Overall it was a really neat experience and something they should do more for season ticket holders.
When was this?! I went tonight, but early. I was there 'til about 10:30. I never saw any Spurs players. I didn't even know that event was taking place. I did however meet Joe Reinegel from Kens 5. He played against me where you shoot hoops and after I sat with him for a while. He was really cool and nice.
Party was from 1 - 5.
