do u think da spurs should give him a workout

    hoopshype.com
James White was indeed in Atlanta yesterday. The ultra-athletic 6-foot-7 swingman, who played last year with Fenerbahce of Turkey, worked out for the Hawks at the Philips Arena Thursday, agent Bill McCandless told HoopsHype. White, who averaged 6.8 ppg and 2.9 rpg in the Euroleague, has no plans to return to Turkey next season and is looking for a job in the NBA instead.

White, who had already worked out with Indiana and Toronto, will be back in Atlanta on Tuesday or Wednesday for another practice session, according to McCandless

Sure, why not? Might be better than some of our draft picks.

I just don't know what they'll learn in a work-out that they didn't already know. Guess it doesn't hurt to go through the motions, and he might have learned some things in Turkey. But I would hazard a guess that the Spurs already know plenty about James.

I think James White was way more athletic and had the ability to score than who we drafted.

Well to answer your original question, James White's stats were 8.6 points and 2.8 rebounds in 23 minutes a game.

Glad to see Tim was bonding with the guys who were most likely to stick with the team for the rest of his career.

I think that they should give him a chance!! He is extremely atheletic and very young. We had him once before. I don't know why they ever let him go? He would of already been used to the system and would possibly be getting a quit a bit of playing time, because the talent is there!!! Has anyone ever seen this guy dunk??

Pass! If you can't score in the Euroleague then you can't score in the NBA.

Heck, we passed on an Euroleague MVP (Scola).
