Portuagl once aggressed upon my hometown in year 1899,Portuagl had been taken over Macau from the year 1899 to 1999, totally 100 years, my hometown has been taking over by China since the year 1999.

it means Macau was Portuguese colony in the past~

and there are many differernt things in Macau, no matter the language and the culture as well as the passports,people in Macau and Hong Kong speak Cantonese language, and other Chinese speak Mandarin in part of the China's places, and of course, Macau citizens and hong Kong citizens can speak Mandarin as well

I've been to Macau twice; once directly from mainland China and once from Hong Kong (on one of those hi-speed hydrofoils). It's an interesting blend of Chinese and Portuguese, the food is very good. The casinos are okay, but I very much enjoyed the ruins of St. Paul's and the Maritime museum. Oh and lots of garment shopping!
