I don't know about you, but I think that logo was epic. hahaha
I like the Hawks logos, past and present. Too bad they suck most of the time.
And, what's wrong with the Utah Jazz logo? Anytime I think about jazz music, I reminisce about the Rocky Mountains, don't you? They seriously couldn't change their name when they moved to Utah?
Old school Denver Nuggets logo is pretty ill. Normally all those bright colors would be too much, but for some reason it worked, imo.
My favorite has to be the Sonics logo with the Seattle skyline encased inside the basketball. The Celtics shamrock is an example of beautiful simplicity.
i thought the oldschool pistons one with the horse was pretty pimp
When I first saw it I thought it was a Pacman-related object throwing up.
I made that mistake as a kid. I could never figure out what it had to do with the Hawks. Easy mistake to make.
Horrible list.
Here's what the pros and the general public are saying:

It's my opinion. And IMO, the Spurs, Nets, Sixers and Rockets are boring, the Magic is too loud, the Jazz is geographically inaccurate, the Mavs logo is ugly and nonsensical, (WTF does a horse have to do with being an iconoclast?), while I agree the Bulls, Grizz and Cavs are bad omissions on my part.
You know I'm not being a homer when I say I don't get the appeal of the Mavs horse logo at all.
Stop being a homer!
I know it was your opinion.
I was merely pointing out how wrong it was.

If loving those logos is wrong, I don't want to be right!
Since when does logodesign.com represent the general public?![]()
What the does iconoclast have to do with "mavericks"?
I guess iconoclast semi-relates to the secondary definition of "maverick"...
There are two lists. One by the members (design pros) and the other by public vote.
A public vote coordinated by logodesign.com. Hardly the general public.
wtf???
It's open to anybody who cares/wants to vote, so it's pretty "general".
I know you're hurt the the Blazer's logo didn't make the top ten, but it's not my fault that it's ugly.
