Manu most likely needs surgery to get his ankle back to anywhere near 100%. My orthopedist surgeon told me that, as a non-athlete with a similar injury, recovery time is 6 to 8 months ---without vigorous stress on the ankle for a year. The Spurs FO needs to decide whether to kiss off this season or risk the 2009-2010 season as well. MANUAT100%ORNOTHING

Why don't you wait until the MRI before you start spazzing out about surgery? He may or may not need it.

a doctor like me would wait for the result of MRI and other diagnostic tests before jumping to a conclusion. may be you have to have an appointment with another orthopedic surgeon.
