You mean when Palin is just a laughable footnote a la Miers? I doubt it.
I'm going with Alaska first or something like that.
Get used to it...it's all we're going to be hearing for the next 4 years.
You mean when Palin is just a laughable footnote a la Miers? I doubt it.
"The repugs cheated when they nominated someone the press didn't have a dossier on"
It will be very entertaining to read and see how more psychotic Bufoon and badmintondan will get if McCain wins.
If McCain wins I'll say kudos the republicans for getting the job done. I admit that the democratic party needs to learn how to play hardball and get down and dirty like the republican party does. You have to give them credit for it.
But you won't hear no crying from me because after all is done I am and always will be....an AMERICAN first.
Semper Fi!!
What have been the liberal smear cries during the reign of right-wing smearing going back 30 years?
To the Right, liberal smears are like this: "Ronald Reagan wasn't that hot a president, look at the record more closely." and "Impeaching a president over a fricken blowjob was kind of stupid." and "maybe we should have looked at the evidence before jogging off to unnecessary wars." and "maybe we should make sure our troops have the protection they need, if we're to send them off to war."
It'll be a heartbreaking tragedy when McCain passes on and leaves this country with a hot hard-right wing woman president
Oh snap!!!! Good times ahead my friends.
did you see his mom last night. i don't think anyone needs to worry about mccain's longevity. his mom, at 96, is more mobile and alert than a lot of 46 year olds out there.
Come on joe, democratic party needs to learn hardball? Picking on a 17 year old girl is not hardball. Calling a guy out for getting caught DWI when he was 22 some 20 years ago is not hardball. they are even picking on Palin's church in Huffin & Puffin post.
Please don't ever run for office we may have to dig up some of your post here on spurstalk. LOL
Hey I liked what Thompson said about Sarah, she is the only candidate that knows how to field dress a moose. I would add and also a dimm-o-crap.![]()
Oh I don't know boutons. Does it count when they do it to one of their own?
Like Biden.

The ONE thing we won't hear is that, regardless of how unpopular a Republican administration has been, it is STILL not as unpopular as the actual policies a Democratic administration wants to impose on us.
"STILL not as unpopular"
Really? dubya's policies, To Be Continued by McSame, give him a World Champion 80% disapproval rating.

Yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
Like I said.
IF the Dems lose this one; with Bush at THAT level of support; can't we assume Americans REALLY don't want what the Dems are selling? Can't we further assume that, again, that the Dems won't figure that out?
Also, the pollsters have called my house a couple of times over the past several months (live in PA now - the election is more fun here than in Texas). And to the question; "Do you approve of the job the president is doing?" I answer: "No".
Puts me in the 80% who disapprove, doesn't it?
I've always wondered how many people of that 80% snicker, like I do, when they answer that question, KNOWING that people like you, B, will completely mis-read the results.
Wrong. If McCain wins, it'll be about everything else BUT policies. Don't take my word for it, listen to McCain's campaign manager:
Which is exactly the way Republicans HAVE to run to win. If it was about issues, they lose. Make it about "who you'd rather have a ing beer with" instead.http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the...lection_i.html
"This election is not about issues," said Davis. "This election is about a composite view of what people take away from these candidates."
Man, if the Dems lose this one, I am.....
I've got nothing.
But I will be disappointed....again.
I do think that both parties need a shakeup.
They will smear and twist the facts even worse after John Mc is president.
Veto proof majority?
Can you imagine the world leaders?
"Please stay in good health president McCain."
[thinking silently] "We don't want to deal with that woman as she goes through menopause."
Polls and surveys generally show the American populace supporting Democratic ideals -- from social issues to economic issues. The country simply is much more to the left than the far right the Republicans have pulled us.
What the GOP is astoundingly good at, however, is campaigning. That's all they do is campaign. When in office they can't govern, but they do understand mass psychology, symbolism, and pushing voters' buttons.
I don't know what your talking about but I sure hope those gay people can't get married.
Of course, they test market their political attacks for believability before cutting them loose...truth be damned ....What the GOP is astoundingly good at, however, is campaigning.
