Unless you are the Brewers, most of the playoff contenders would probably prefer the Dodgers. (To be fair, the numbers are closer than I would have guessed.)

    Phillies: 4-4 vs. Dodgers
    4-3 vs. D-Backs

    Mets: 4-3 vs. Dodgers
    3-3 vs. D-Backs

    Brewers: 2-4 vs. Dodgers
    5-1 vs. D-Backs

    Cubs: 5-2 vs. Dodgers
    4-3 vs. D-Backs

only reason i would want to see the dbacks make it is so they can take out the cubs again with a webb haren johnson playoff rotation. but i dont think the Dbacks have enough offense and bullpen. all i know is its gonna be an exciting race for the west. 83 games wins the west

The Diamondbacks match up perfectly against the Cubs, but not so much anyone else. You are 100% correct. Watching them struggle like to even score one run against the Cardinals last night was just brutal.

Dunn really doesn't help Arizona that much because he is so isolated in that lineup. Why wouldn't a team throw him four straight balls and hope he strikes out? This was the same EXACT problem that Arizona has had with Mark Reynolds (.242/.320/.480; 53 BB, 174 SO). I used to call Reynolds "Adam Dunn Lite" even before they traded for Dunn. Eerie....

dood stfu and quit making excuses. fact is the dodgers have a better lineup from top to bottom. it just took the whole season for them to catch up.

Webb and Haren are great but they have completely sucked the last 3 outings. Webb who has dominated the dodgers are 0-2 against them the last 2 outings and got hit hard by who? Man Ram who you said was overrated. Hmm recap the numbers this series and see who has the better numbers. manny or fat ass dunn?

of course this race isnt over yet by any means but u make all the excuses when ure dbacks lose and denounce even a hint of an excuse when the dodgers lose.

dodgers sweep it tomarrow. so much for your b webb no hitter predictions

    YEAA BOYY!!!!!!!!!!

D-backs picked the worst time to start slumping, although seeing as how both teams like to go on 8 game win/lose streaks it's probably only a matter of time before the standings flip flop.
