Parker and De Colo came from the bench.
I guess Gomez (French coach) didn't want to make the game too easy and started scrubs to have a little handicap (Belgium leaded 11-1 after 5min).

    De Colo is a stud.

I never really saw him play until tonight and all I have to say is : dayumm !

21 years old and still a big margin of progress. I'm sure TP will speak about him to spurs FO.

he drives, shoot, pass, and seems fearless. I wouldn't compare him to Manu yet even if Nando is copying some og his moves but he's a kid to folllow.

He will be in next year's draft.

When I saw the starting lineup, I was like WTF ?

It was supposed to respect the guys who were there for the beginning of the preparation and not make NBA guys saviors...

5 min into the game 1-11
TP, De Colo in as... saviors

De Colo had 5 points in the first half, then 15 pts in 5-6 min, in a decisive 3rd.

when they came France was 1-11 few minutes later 13-15
    good defense and good offense
Diawara was the man in defnse for the 2de quater
Turiaf make a 3 in the last minute like Tim (TP assist)

    Thanks for the answer.

France NT have lacked a SG for years. If De Colo can be that guy, it's a great news.

On a side note, Italy is in quite big troubles in its qualifying group.

According to different websites, he is between 1m92 and 1m95.
    So between 6-3 and 6-4.

So what is the deal with these games? Did this game count or is it still exhibition games? How many wins are needed for France to qualify? How many teams qualify? Are these games being shown online?

This crap sucks but at least Spurs fans should know WTF is going on . . .

    Nando de Colo
    From Draftexpress:
    http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Nando-De-Colo-5087/

    1) He'll be forced into next years draft by the upper age limit
    2) He's currently ranked as a high 2nd round prospect, primarily due to bad defense. If that is fixed, he might go 1st round. It is unlikely because the bad defense appears to be the result of bad lateral quickness/foot speed/athleticism...Which would be even more a problem at the NBA level.

    I didn't watch the game.
Did the Parker/De Colo backcourt worked well ?
    Definitely !

They're very complementary and De Colo can play the point too.

De colo took care of the game in the third even when TP was on the court.
TP didn't try to force things until the end of the game when he pretty sealed the victory by penetrating and provoking fouls.

Tony struggled a bit against Belgium's small PG in the first half but took the advantage on a three just before the half break.

At his level (no way I want to compare those 2) I would say Nando is a french "Manu" in what he brings to the team and makes things happen. He sees the game very well too.

I know it's just one game but I think France has its backcourt for the next 4 years in those 2.

De Colo boomed at a relatively late age. That's why I think he really has much room to improve.

For what it's worth Bruno :

Julian said at half time that Tony and Boris talked to him to try to convince him to come back to the NT because they need a veteran big like him. So it's possible he'll play again in the future.

he's progressing so fast that this profile is already out of date. He knows he has to work on D and he's obviously doing it. He looked pretty good to me vs Belgium.

Tony surprised and pissed at the french coach for not starting him, De Colo and Diawara at the press conference.

And the coach responding to him

    Great atmosphere !
    And France won by 20
