Yeah, and I suppose it was classy of Avery to take shots at every organization that decided they no longer needed is services. This from the same guy who likes to call himself a "man of character" and a "man of integrity". Bull !
Too many people have been sucked in by his fake humility and his over-zealous, religious prattle. After all evidence to the contrary, it's hard to understand why some think this guy "walks on water".

I like Avery, don't know why people dislike him...YEAH, he coached the team I hate the most, after the Fakers, but he is no longer there. I would definitely go if I lived in S.A.

It's not the fact that he coached the Mavs, anyone would jump at the chance to be an NBA head coach no matter what team it happens to be.
It's the opinion of a lot of people that he was petty and disrespectful with his "gamesmanship" during the 2006 WCSF series. That was a slap in the face to a lot of Spurs fans.
