I'm glad you're considering penning a contract with the San Antonio Spurs. You've always kept yourself in great shape, and you proved last year that when the playoffs roll around, and the style of play changes as it always does in the post season, that you're still a force to be reckoned with. Your tough play against Tim Duncan, I feel, was much more responsible for the Lakers beating the Spurs last year than a lot of people recognize.
Last night, our 4 and 5 spots, with the exception of a good game by Rasho, produced 6 of 21 shooting from the floor and 14 rebounds in 75 minutes of action for Horry, Rose, Massenburg and Marks combined against the Okafor and Jahidi White-less Charlotte Bobcats. . .a team that has won all of 10 games this year. It is obvious to this Spurs fan that whichever Spur loses his roster spot probably had less to do with the Spurs first 39 wins than you'll have to do with the final 16.
