Greatest headphones EVER.
Fantastic sound!

To be bought by Apple... http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2...beats/8868913/
Dr. Dre is gonna be the first hip-hop billionaire.
Sean Combs
Shawn Carter
if only HTC had held on to their stake,HTC
Whenever I see an individual with Beats headphones I subconciously classify them as ignorant
ty product for the ty masses. Dre got 1/2 a billion by peddling a crappy product. Shows how zombie consumerism is heightened in the drive to get everyone to spend--even the kids in the hood.
they own 64% of the high end headphone market, and Apple will make a killing putting them front and center in their stores.
ty product that turns trendy and everyone buys it like sheep
Even tier made product that induces sheep consumerism bought up sheep earphones. Who gives a if they have 64% of the market of high-end earphones. It doesn't take away from it being an inferior product in terms of quality, bass isolation, and acoustics. Don't tell me--are you one of those iPhone sheep? Shure makes a better earphone. Sennheiser, too.
It should bring the price down
Headphone hipsters.
I was saying it makes a lot of sense for Apple to buy them for those reasons, and I believe they do their own manufacturing and can save Apple some money there too.
Kinda like android - zing~!
Beats Audio
my 1st Android phone was the HTC One S
had Beats Audio
Which wasn't anything really special TBH
The Beats audio on my HTC One X was pretty good when put in contact with my car's system. Other than that it was pointless. Really was my Shure earphones that brought the ruckus with my musics.
I think the Beats audio was just a software layer.
Really impressive marketing overall though. I found the campaign around the bluetooth speaker/sex suppository fascinating.
I have both a high end SHURE pair and a Beats Solo set. I enjoy the Beats, however; you can go get a more audiophile version with other brands, but you're paying a lot. What apple should do is offer lossless files as a norm and figure out the compression process rather than ty mp3's they've been peddling and that they've ruined high end audio for years now. The fact that the majority of music people listen to is less quality than 90's era CD's is troubling. However, the kids don't know any better.
You just like 'em 'cause they actually manage to make your fat face look smaller. [/5+ year-late quip]

Spending hundreds on headphones is almost as re ed as dishing out $80 for HDMI cables imo.![]()
Not likely, his stake is just under 30% and if his net worth is around the same as the transaction date, he'll be hovering at 800m. Still, it will make him the richest "artist" in the hip-hop world.
It's a good product if you listen to bass heavy music, it's just ing way overpriced. Sennheiser all day, FTW.
I have a pair and like them a lot. They were a gift, though--I'm too cheap to drop that kind of dough on myself, tbh.
