Blazers' Frye out 8-10 weeks after ankle surgery
Katie Hartley
Another Trail Blazer has had surgery, and the team says that forward/center Channing Frye will be back in a couple of months.
Frye underwent arthroscopic surgery Monday to remove bone spurs from his left ankle.
A Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) on Saturday and Computed Tomography (CT) Scan on Monday revealed the spurs.
"Channing underwent arthroscopic surgery today on his left ankle after recently experiencing discomfort," General Manager Kevin Pritchard said in a statement. "We expect him to make a full recovery in 8-10 weeks."
Dr. Richard Ferkel performed the surgery at the Southern California Orthopedic Ins ute in Van Nuys, Calif.
The 6-11 Frye, 25, played in 78 games last season, averaging 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds in 17.2 minutes.
Not really they have a good team this season im looking forward to se them play....![]()
It's a good thing we've got Ike Diogu. He'll get his shot now.

If Kori thinks so she'll move it.
It's the same surgeon that Ginobili had but that's not mentioned in the article. I thought it belonged here.
Blazers drop like dominoes. Last year, it was Oden. This year, already Roy and Frye. My guess is Outlaw breaks his shoulder blade next.
i don't know if it's the same surgeon, but
is spurs related

I missed it entirely. I either need more sleep or more coffee.
