    Can anyone remember when the coaches started to gather together seperate from the players during a timeout? I know this has been going on for some time know, but just curious! The first time I can remember is when John Lucas was coach of the Spurs.

    Pop's always done this. My dad has always maintained it's because Pop has to ask the assistants what to do.
