Service sucked
food wasn't much better
not a winning combination.
Apparently the only two left in the area are one in Live Oak and one in Cedar Park (near Austin). A pretty expensive experiment.
Noticed that they're all closed all of a sudden. Anyone work there or no anything?

I used to eat at Village Inn in Phoenix and they were always packed...food was great...service was good...so when they came to SA I was excited. Only ate there once (here) and wasn't impressed at all. Didn't surprise me when it closed.
Village Inn is in bankruptcy.

The one in Live Oak has been gone for a while now.
It took too long to get your food and the portions were too small for what you were paying. Not exactly a winning combination.
