Only 24?
“The Iceman” Nike Blazers Releasing at House of Hoops 9/20
With the Blazer becoming more and more popular with every drop, it’s now getting the ultra-limited treatment with this upcoming House of Hoops exclusive. This George “The Iceman” Gervin edition, created to honor the ABA and NBA legend, hits Sept. 20th at Harlem’s HoH.
Nike’s first basketball silhouette is the perfect canvas to pay tribute to The Iceman, who actually played in the shoe during its original release. Gervin not only had the stats to end up in the NBA Hall of Fame, but the intangibles like a smooth, graceful and effortless style and trademark finger-roll that remain legendary in their own right. In a colorway reminiscent of team Gervin spent the majority of his career with, the San Antonio Spurs, these metallic silver Blazers will be limited to a mere 24 pairs.
love the spurs colorway and simple design.
How much does a 24 pairs only shoe cost?
KEDA is a punk if he doesn't get a pair of these.
Anywhere from 200-300 a pair, Im going to have to call in the big guns for this one.
Good luck KEDA. I thought of you when I found this.
whats the point if replicas are going to show up and flood the market
Couple grand.
You sure?
I saw L.E. pairs of Dr. J shoes go for over 2K on eBay.
Damn, KEDA. You may have to Ocean's Eleven a pair.
Kids, don't wear these on your club team or park league playoffs. Your teams won't close the deal, just like the Iceman's playoff teams never did.
i agree.
The fake market is really only Jordans and Ari Force Ones, Blazers are not near as popular to people who seek out fakes.
Those Dr. J sneakers were game worn original Chuck Taylors, these are brand new Limited Edition Nike Blazers, also HOH will charge a price, then the re-sellers will charge their own price.
Also take in account that Gervin played for a small market team and was not nearly as popular. If this would have been a Converse sneaker in the colorway that Jordan wore when he played at North Carolina, then you are talking about a couple grand.
With only 24 pairs, and the fact that HOH doesn't do internet ordering, I might have to go to Ebay to find them.
why not 44 pairs? It would make sense to me that if they are going to do a limited edition......44 would be the perfect number for anything Ice Man related.
