Energy Bill # H.R.6899, A Joke

Last night in the middle of the night the democrats introduced a bill, shot it through all committees, and have brought it for a general vote this morning.

the bill calls for Off-Shore drilling, but no revenue sharing with the states. As a frame of reference, Texas, LA, Miss, Al currently have revenue sharing where each state receives about 35% of the oil revenues generated. Why not, the natural resources do belong to the state. Hence, this bill produces zero off-shore drilling. No bridge will be created.


No zero emmissions nuclear energy. France generates 80% of its electricity from nuclear. China is building 34 plants, India 17, and Dubai 14.

Nothing for anwar, nothing for coal, etc..

Dems will lose VA and possibly PA with this one.

Then on top of that, it would actually restrict what will occur. The congressional ban on the outer continental shelf expirs this month. Off shore drilling will be more available without this scam they are perpetrating.
