So question - does Obama take money from lobbyists or does he not?

Is this one of those circular things where the lobbyist $ arrives somehow but not through the front door?

Is it not even about money but Obama's policy coincide with more government help for the private sector?

Can someone educate me on this?

Obama has taken about 130K from Fannie/Freddie in his 3 years in senate.

McCain has taken about 15K from Fannie/Freddie in his 22 years in senate.

Every politician takes money from lobbyists....and there is only 6 degree of separation between any two people in the world, especially in Washington...so it's not surprising that one of Obama's chief strategists was affiliated with Fannie Mae, before it collapsed....the difference is that Obama recognized how unpopular Fannie and Freddie had become and released the guy, while McSame continues to hold onto the king of deregulation, Gramm..

    I'm sorry, Dan.

    What President signed that Bill?

    I'm having trouble remembering.
