OKC Thunder notebook
Thunder officials are expected to unveil team uniforms next Monday at Media Day. Insiders say the road uniforms will be sky blue, the color of the state flag. Home uniforms will be white.
If Thunder is inscribed on home, white uniforms and road "Oklahoma City” uniforms are dark sky blue, like the state flag, the team logo becomes a minor topic. The uniforms Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Nick Collison and their teammates wear on ESPN highlights are what the nation will see most, not the logo.

Too bad I already jumped off the Thunder bandwagon. Maybe I'll jump back on later.
Another team with blue uniforms . . . how refreshing.
I can hardly contain myself after seeing the awesome job they did on the logo these uniforms should come close to being the best ever!!!
I found this tidbit at newsok.com
http://newsok.com/article/3298350?topten_check=yes
"An Oklahoma City mother was charged Monday with child neglect after neighbors found her 3-year-old son wandering around the parking lot of their apartment complex with beer in his bottle.
Rose Adame, 32, was so intoxicated she could not stand June 21 when police arrived at her apartment complex at 2149 SW 38, according to court papers. She still tried to grab the beer-filled baby bottle so she could continue drinking, court papers say."
I think she's been framed. How many three year-olds still drink from a bottle? Clearly, it was for Ms. Adame.
The Magic release theirs today...not a fan of the pinstripes on these new uni's

God Almighty do the Magic have to change their jerseys every other year? That franchise has gotta be run by women "Oh that look is so 2 years ago, time to get a new one!"
Well, it depends. was it beer or milk in the bottle?
Those jerseys could have worked if they simply had "HOUSTON" or "ROCKETS" on the front instead of the whole logo. And putting the number back below the chest would also help that design too.
Almost as futuristic as Yao's flattop.
I wonder if the people in Oklahoma City were Mavs fans before the Hornets and Thunder came along.Anyways, those colors are![]()
Well, looky there, Dwight Howard's head is so thick that the gravitational forces can bend pinstripes.

There's no news story link, but the new unis are on the front page
They don't look that bad, honestly.
Yeah, I have to concur. Home is pretty boring, but I like that tarheel blue-ish look on the roads. Don't like the road nameplate though.
The whites are plain, but it's better than a total up. The blue's are nice. I would wear Durant one.
Agreed. It's better to go with bland and boring than loud and garish.
they're not horrible, but they look kina d-leagueish.
the lettering on the road jerseys looks ing re ed.
