I haven't watched the Rams a lot lately but I would guess that Bulger is not the problem.
Rams will start Green on Sunday against Bills
Marc Bulger is out as St. Louis Rams starting quarterback after producing only two touchdowns in three games, and 38-year-old backup Trent Green is in.
The benching of the Rams’ highest-paid player, announced by coach Scott Linehan in a terse, two-paragraph release on Tuesday, signals just how desperate times have become for the sagging franchise. Linehan is 11-24 in his third season, including 0-3 this year with none of the games compe ive.

I just saw the headlines on Yahoo! Didn't they sign Bulger to this huge $$$ contract last year?
Same for Derek Anderson...I think he's one more loss from being benched in favor of Quinn.
As was stated, the QB's aren't necessarily the problem(s).![]()
Greens best year was the 13-3 Priest Holmes Chiefs year.
He's been all downhill ever since. Whats really sad is we will never know how good Green could have been thanks to Cheapshot Harrison.
Yeah to blame the Rams losses on Bulgar is, well I think the Rams will find out it wasnt Bulgar.
I hope they continue to suck for at least one more week. I no want surprises.
Different situation. The Browns thought they were going to have a chance at the playoffs this season. Since it looks like they are going to suck, they might as well bring the QB of the future in and see if he's worth keeping. You already know Anderson can play, so if Quinn can too then you can trade one of them and re-tool for next year.
The similarity in the situations is that Romeo might be bringing in Quinn to help save his job.
Contracts mean nothing in the NFL. ZERO.
The whole Ram organization needs to be fired.
Bulger is not the problem.
The mentally re ed Linehan and literally the entire front office office needs to be fired.
Wholesale changes need to be made there.
So which will happen first: Linehan's firing by the front office, or his lynching by his players?
The front office is a disaster in St. Louis, sure, but Linehan is one of the worst coaches in recent memory. Once he loses his job in StL, I fully expect Matt Millen to hire him.
Millen was fired.
Other than Holt, their receivers aren't very good. Their offensive line is horrid. Steven Jackson isn't doing good (see offensive line), and their defense gets shredded every week. I don't think Bulger is the problem.
If their offensive line is that bad, is it really a good idea to put Mr. Concussion back there?
Good point I had almost forgotten about that. (Possibly so has Green, but I kid the punchdrunk palooka.)
