Question about the Quarto Razor thread

Hey since I'm fairly new here I have a question. What is the deal with the Quarto Razor thread? It's the longest thread I ever seen. Are people giving away free razors or what? I tried reading the thread and I just see random conversations.

So what is it and why is it so special since its so freaking long?

The original thread was very funny ... and it stemmed from the time that they were giving away free Quattro razors. Now it's just used as a general chit chat thread - like an ongoing chatroom.
