I predict the voting for the remaining 11 spots will be very defensive - in terms of trying to keep off players people feel should not be on the list.![]()

To pass the time until the start of preseason, let's see how SpursTalk.com ranks the Top 50 Spurs. Those eligible for the list include all players, coaches and owners. I don't want to define "top" too narrowly, but I think the best way to do it would be to think of the list as a list of the 50 most influential people who have helped make the Spurs one of the most successful franchises in the history of sport.
For more information on what we are doing, check out this thread.
In this thread, we will vote for spot number 40. Please place your vote. If you will, also explain in this thread why you voted how you did.
Thanks.
P.S.
Poll options listed in alphabetical order. If you want to vote for someone not on the list, post in the thread and I'll add the person.
Voting will end 2AM CST Thursday morning.
Please vote only once.

keep the soft players Rasho and Vinny Del Negro falling. Rasho lacked agression for a big and played his way off the team when the spurs needed a reliable center option and Del Degro's playoff numbers always went down. The spurs are not soft and their fans don't support soft play.
Walter Berry, although his run was short with the spurs about 2 years he did avg. 17 pts a game on 56 % shooting in 1988 and improved in the 3 playoff games he had with the spurs to 22 pts per game.

Since Dietrick already has two votes today, and since he's on my final 5 list I think I'm going to add my vote to hopefully get him in.
Yep, I'm on Rashoguard for the next few picks.
The next two players on this list should be Mike Gale and Antonio Daniels. I am voting for AD. I just loved his style of play so exciting with those Statue of Liberty dunks on the fast break. He is still a very good friend of Tim Duncan's too.
I've been on Rashoguard since angel_luv started voting for him, probably at #1.
